The first Disciples album for Shaka is a very direct
raw dub affair. The 4 track recordings featuring pretty realistic drum machine patterns plus live
instrumentation - loud bass, interesting melodica touches - could trick many into believing that
this is a Jamaican set of tracks from the mid-'70s! Very consistent, to the point performances!
